FTRL: REVLON Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain

I swiped once. It's enough to moisturize, enhance the color of lips and obscure some discolorations.

To get a much brighter color, swipe twice of thrice. :)

What I love about them:

1. The crayon tip helps you outline your lips beautifully and color the rest in one fluid motion.
2. Heavily tinted. It only takes me one swipe to get all the colors on my lips. :)
3. It's long lasting. The gloss will disappear after a meal but the color stays on for 4-6hrs. I only have to reapply once just for the shine. 
4. It's very moisturizing. My lips didn't feel dry at all. 
5. It has lots of colors to choose from 
6. It's cheap for 500+ php considering the quality and the duration. One tube lasted me 9 months and I use it on a daily basis. 

What I don't like:

1. The minty scent and feel of it on the first swipe. It's not really a disadvantage, there are some who would appreciate it. Personally, it doesn't really bother me as much as my friends because the effect will only last for seconds. 
2. All the colors are not available locally. The only colors I see  are the ones I already have. 

Will I repurchase?

Yes!!! Even if it's cheap for the quality, It's a lot pricey compared to the other products I use. I have to smash my piggy bank or to sacrifice my food allowance to be able to buy one. 

If I have the money to spend though, I'd definitely buy all the colors available! I just love them all!

Finding the RIGHT Lipstick

I'm an ordinary girl who lives in a small town. In my town, the girls are loving the BARE look. My girlfriends beauty kits are consists only of Lose Powder, lip balms or lip stains, telephone wire scrunchies and bobby pins. Some don't even bother, they only carry handkerchiefs to wipe away the grease.

There are few who wears make up in a daily basis and I'm one of them. But, unlike most of the girls who wears make up, I've no clue what shade is good for me. Yes, I've done my research about Warm and Cool Undertones but I still have NO Idea what colors are good for what type of undertone.

I'm a lipstick type of person and since I don't know what colors would suite me, I bought every color that I find pretty.

The lipstick brand I own are AVON, EVER BILENA and REVLON. These brands are all budget friendly with good quality and lots of color variety. I'd do a separate post for the swatches of each brand. :)

Stick your business elsewhere :(

I thought sticking post it notes with messages as this is easy but it's not.

Yesterday, while I was posting notes on a wall, a security guard from a bank across the street approached me and asked me what I'm doing.

I explained my purpose and he laughed. I was hurt that he didn't appreciate it but I was shocked when he scolded me and said that I was only littering the place.

I looked at the wall and pointed out all the graffiti. He said that I'm no different from them and told me to stop. I apologized and went on my way as there is no point to argue my purpose.

I'd still be posting notes but I'll be avoiding to post them on walls on the street from now on. I know that there will be someone who will need to feel loved. I'd stick them in bathrooms and books instead.

Lesson: I know now that we can never please everybody and not everyone understands us. But we have to be firm on our beliefs. And, we have to be careful where we post our notes to avoid hitting a nerve.  

Cute post-its

Eon's ago, I went into a store to buy some accessories when I saw this very cute Sticky note folio; fell in

love and immediately bought it and all the other designs available. Unfortunately, I still couldn't get enough so I was constantly searching the web and our local stores for more cute post it designs. I've spent months searching and buying until I was faced with the reality that I've bought too many Folio's to last me a lifetime!

I don't know what to do with them. I'm not in school anymore, my work certainly doesn't need too many post its and I don't want these cute things buried forever in a box.

So, I gave some to my cousin and searched for ways on how to use the others; then, I came across these websites:

These websites are sticking post its with inspirational messages at random places to help random people feel good about themselves and to give them strength to face the situation they're in. 

I really love their idea and immediately decided to do it myself.

This is my first post.

 I don't know what will be the fate of this NOTE, I only wish that there will be someone out there who will feel happy or less lonely when they read it. 

If you're like me who hoard post its and don't know what to do with them, this is, for me, the best thing to do. You will not only solve your problem, you'll feel happy and help people as well. Plus, you'd be able to buy more cute designs when you run out! :)

Oh! I'd keep the last sheet if I were you. Just so you would have something to remember by. Or, you can always photograph it. Your choice! I'd like to keep the last sheets close though. :)

Valentines Day Nails

February, the most celebrated month for couples and the hated month for the singles. Can you blame them? It's the so called 'LOVE MONTH' where you see couples everywhere getting all mushy, gooey, and doing all kinds of PDAs. If you're single, you would really feel alone.

As for me, I'm enjoying the view! This is the month where I see grandpas purchasing roses or balloons for grandma. Where my mom would cook my dads' favorite food, couples holding hands and whispering sweet nothings. You can feel and see love everywhere. You can smell flowers in the air and this will be the nicest time to say I Love You to your family and friends without feeling weird. AND! This is the only month where I see RED (my fave color) and HEARTS (my fave shape) everywhere I go! I LOVE IT!

And thus.. my nails

I wanted a valentine theme nail art to go with the occasion, so I Googled some designs. I was not able to do them perfectly but I'm proud of what I've accomplished. :)

Friend shoutout: This is not the time to feel alone. There are lots of people who would really appreciate their time with you. :) Enjoy this month with them. :)
